Getting Married? Then Don’t Forget These

Thousands and thousands of couples get married every year. A wedding is an exciting time in a couple’s life.

Unfortunately there is so much planning involved for a wedding because you really want your special day to be perfect. You really should not plan it all yourself because it will be too stressful so hiring people is recommended.

In this quick post I’m going to tell you about some of the planners and things you may want to remember for your wedding day.

The most important thing you will need for your wedding day is of course a venue for the wedding which will probably be a church. And also a venue, after the wedding for the party.

The second thing you may want is a photographer to take snapshots of your day. You could ask a friend if their any good but it’s probably best to get a professional because you’ll probably keep the photos forever so you want them to look good.

Also I’m sure you will not forget that you will need a wedding dress if you are a bride and don’t forget that the groom will need a nice suit.

You may also need to hire some cars to take you to and from the church. Some people use limos and other nice cars.

Don’t forget that you need to send out invitations to your friends and family. You could get wedding invitations made at wedding fairs or at the printers.

And don’t forget that people need to eat as well so hiring a caterer for your special day is very important. Just leave the food to the caterers and they will make sure everyone gets fed.

It’s also nice if the bride carries a bunch of flowers. Some people spend hundreds or thousands on flowers for their wedding but it’s not totally necessary. Just as long as the bride has some flowers, that’s all that matters.

Some people with a bit of money will hire a professional make up artist to do their make up for them. Again not necessary but you only get married once right.

So that’s some stuff for you to remember for your wedding day. Remember not to do it all yourself.

The Evolution Of Church Worship Chairs

The interior fixtures of modern church buildings have gone through a lot of changes over the years. One of the most important church furnishings was is the church worship chars, which have also evolved a lot as circumstances changed. Back in the 17th century, church worship chairs were very simple and basic, but now there is a wide variety available at affordable prices.

Back then there seemed to be a notion that going to church did not require the any sort of comfortable trappings to make things easy on the parishioners. Everyone just had to remain standing. Of course, when churches had some financial troubles, comfortable chairs were not high priorities. Since then, they have evolved to be nicer and more durable.

Then, between the 17th and 19th centuries, many establishments began to offer church worship chairs for rent. The fees were charged to anyone who wanted to sit on the chair. Anyone who didn’t have the funds to pay the fee would have to remain standing throughout the mass. All the rent that was gathered would then add to the church’s funding.

The seating was only made from high quality timber that which included Elm, Beech, Oak and American Ash. Resources in the past were relatively limited, so the wood that was used prepared carefully to make sure the wood would last.

Once the chosen timber made it to the workshop, it was dried out until ten percent of the moisture was removed. Then, when that was finished, the timber was double checked for any other defects before it was cut to fit the needs of the church worship chairs. The next step is the finishing process, which gave it the durability to last.
