Proper Ways to Follow Up After Your Interview

You just finished a job application interview. You are pleased with the way you handled yourself and that voice inside you assures you that you have made it. The people who handled your interview told you that they would call you soon. Unfortunately, you did not hear from them. You were very disappointed. And what’s worse, things like this are constantly happening. Just remember: Companies can display improper etiquette just like people. It’s not good, but it is common.

It was Tuesday when a certain company asked Cheryl for an interview. Cheryl aced the interview and she was very confident with its outcome. The interviewer informed Cheryl that they would call her before the end of the week. When Friday came, Cheryl still did not hear anything from the company. “What should I do?” thought Cheryl. She needed to know badly and found herself in a dilemma.

Cheryl realized that she should talk to her cousin Gloria, who is a HR manager. Her cousin told her that it is all right to ask the company about her job application but she should inquire on Tuesday. Gloria specifically told Cheryl not to make follow up calls during Mondays because it is always poor timing.

That Tuesday, Cheryl made the call to the company. Before making the call, she made sure that she was prepared. She even wrote a script of her message to establish a good impression. When she dialed, she reached a voice mail and left a message:

“This is Cheryl Jones; I came to your office last Tuesday for a job interview. I would like to inquire about the status of my application and if you are still considering me for the position. I would be grateful if you would call me back today. My contact number is 333-999-8888. Thank you very much.”

Do not be ashamed to contact your company if you want feedback about your application. You just need to be prepared when you inquire, show respect, and be professional. State the fact that you want to know the results of your application. Let them know that they are your first choice and you want to settle things with them before looking for new opportunities. But don’t call more than three times. If you continue to ask them, you will begin to look desperate. Consider their silence as a negative response to your application.

There is a great possibility that you will be able to talk to a person when you follow up. If this happens, grab this chance to inquire about your job application. There are times when a person will talk to you and give you reasonable advice, but this rarely happens. Make sure to thank this person when this occurs and try to gain wisdom from this circumstance.

Bosses know that applicants are very eager to find out about the results of their application. For this reason, most employers wait for the right time to discuss this matter to the applicant. On the other hand, there are employers who let applicants wait even after announcement date. You have to consider things like this before working for that particular employer. Meanwhile, do something productive while you wait by looking for other jobs.

A Method To Learn How To Read Music

When you must have ways to learn how to read music it is often considered a challenge, simply because it is like learning another language. To learn to read music a person must understand how to use of the tools, and learn to think in music. They are used for the formation of music, by allowing one to read the notes on the paper and play their instrument. The most important steps in learning to read music is the understanding of the notations written on the sheets of music.

First begin by relaxing to make learning fun. Consider using a card game you like to play and create a set of cards including the musical terms, and notes you want to learn. Play the game often, and notice that these terms and notes are being recognized more easily.

As you build your knowledge you will be obtaining the necessary basics for sight-reading music. It will take a period of time to complete the task so you can sit down and play anything put before you. But, with this effort you will obtain assurance and certainty that you need for this task.

Music can be easily defined as a succession or combination of notes, especially if pleasing to the ear. In a reasonable concrete approach to reading music the need to know and understand things like notes, staffs, clefs, pitch, color, rhythm, and timing.

A sheet of music will have a base clef for the deeper parts of the music, a treble clef for the higher notes that will be played. You will see line and spaces, numbers that represent the tempo, and the notes that are arranged from A to G. As you follow these steps you will find that you are ready to read music.

To start things off you have access to the Playstation network. This is where you will get most of your downloads from. They have everything from game demos, preview movies, movie previews, and games. Yes you can download games via the Playstation network. You can even Hook up your PSP to your PS3 and transfer stuff back and forth between them.

In addition to unlocking content on the little device you can also transfer some games from the console to the handheld. A Short Review Of The Japanese Film Tetsuo The Iron Man

Tetsuo Iron Man was the debut feature from the unpredictable Japanese director Shinya Tsukamoto. It’s a foreign film, but it’s not THAT kind of foreign film. As in, don’t think you’re going to be sitting there reading subtitles. There’s really very little dialog in the film, and what’s there isn’t usually important. It plays something like a silent film, so definitely put it in your queue the next time you log into your movie download service, whether or not you’re usually a fan of Japanese cinema.

The movie follows a typical Japanese salary man who, for no reason at all, starts to sprout pieces of scrap metal from his body. It starts when he’s shaving and pieces of… Aluminum cans or something start growing from his face. It’s very strange. Eventually, he grows into a living, breathing heap of junk metal, and it winds up being a great example of Cronenberg’s body horror genre.

Tsukamoto made the film around the idea of a monster flick with a human sized monster. So imagine Godzilla if Godzilla were only five foot eight. It’s not exactly like that, but it’s very similar. The film has two monsters doing battle: The salary man after his transformation, and Tetsuo, played by Shinya Tsukamoto himself. Both do battle as these metallic monsters, having a final show down in a junkyard on the outskirts of Tokyo.

The movie really helped to define Japanese cyberpunk. There had been earlier efforts in the genre such as Burst City, but this one was the one that really defined the genre as being about industrialism and the Frankenstein-esque relations between man and machine. Where American cyberpunk tends to focus on the computer age, Japanese cyberpunk is more about antiquated machinery and post WWII fear.

The movie is fast paced, sort of confusing, but ultimately, it really works well as a sort of horror movie slash action flick. It has an incredible nightmarish look to it, utilizing stop motion special effects, cheap props and costume that look more real because they’re not makeup. They actually glued pieces of metal to the actors faces in order to get the look they were going for.

The movie primarily draws influence from Eraserhead and Cronenberg’s Videodrome. A warning, if those movies made you squeamish, this one will, too.

Tsukamoto went on to create some of the greatest films ever to come from Japan, including Tokyo Fist, which is one of the greatest films ever made on the subject of the male ego. It’s about what happens when two men who are at odds with one another absolutely refuse to back down no matter what, and how far conflict can go when it’s not put in check.

Tsukamoto is also an interesting actor, doing some bit parts for various Takashi Miike films. He also has another Tetsuo movie coming out, Tetsuo: Bulletman. It’s clear that, while he’s already been making movies for twenty years, he is nevertheless just now warming up.

Another disadvantage is often your own music creativity is limited. Movie This is an excellent way of ensuring that you excel in the music business. On its release the movie drew mixed critical reactions, partly due to its violent nature.
