Fluoride and the Pineal Gland

Fluoride was heralded as the way to save a generations teeth from tooth decay, and studies found that naturally occurring fluoride in water seemed to lower the incident of tooth decay of the population drinking it.

Governments were excited about the prospect of cheaply and efficiently protecting children’s teeth, by adding fluoride to drinking water. Fluoride has 4 isotopes–2 naturally occurring and 2 manufactured). Cheapest of these isotopes (is made from industrial waste).

Ever noticed the warning on toothpaste containers about never swallowing the toothpaste? –That is because FLUORIDE IS TOXIC.

Fluoride effects the pineal gland– a small structure in the brain. It produces melatonin, a a hormone that controls: circadian rhythm–wake, sleep cycles, the beginning of puberty, and the immune system.

Over half of U.S. citizens suffer from some form of sleep disorder.

The question is Why? Worldwide sleep is at pandemic levels.

Lack of sleep negatively impacts on your immune system and is correlated to depression, stroke, and heart disease. Insufficient melatonin production allows the earlier-than-usual onset of puberty.

A 1955 study produced some extremely puzzling results scientists have yet to explain. Young girls drinking fluoridated water were reaching menstruation five months earlier on average than the girls who drank un-fluoridated water. Premature menstruation has been linked to increased risk of breast cancer and obesity.

A study in the American Journal of Public Health, contends that early maturation almost certainly doubled up the odds of someone facing obesity.

Scientists, knew that Fluoride could affect the pineal gland wanted to learn more about that process.

One concerned scientist–Dr. Jennifer Luke, Ph.D., found the pineal gland attracts fluoride. The fluoride interferes with melatonin and its functions. Studying the pineal gland of cadavers during autopsies, she discovered concentrations of fluoride in the pineal gland–ranging from 9,000 PPM (parts per million) to 21,000 PPM. Far higher then anyone had expected.

Studies of Mongolian gerbils (the best research animal for studying effects on the pineal gland) given the chemical, showed lower than normal levels of melatonin and early onset puberty.

Is fluoride the cause of early onset puberty we are seeing more and more? There is strong evidence that a great deal of insomnia is caused by fluoride found in the pineal gland. Which is contributing to the pandemic of sleep deprivation.

It is obvious we need to reduce or eliminate our fluoride intake. A kitchen faucet filter is not enough, nor is a shower head filter.

Installation of a whole home water filtration system will eliminate most of the synthetic fluorides (40%-60%). Some naturally occurring fluorides will remain. We should be speaking to our elected officials making them aware of the danger and demanding the cease adding it to the drinking water.

The only system that will eliminate 100% all fluoride from water is an experimental aluminum salt based filter that adds aluminum to the water during the filtration process. A number of experts agree this cure could be more deadly than the disease and we will need to see a very much improved system before this could be recommended.

The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) is currently testing fluoride for its potential to interfere with the human hormone system.

Hopefully they will do something in regard to fluoride.

Even though the exact cause is not known, hemorrhoidal conditions are often associated with hard stools and difficulty in emptying the bowels, an increase in the fiber content of the diet often alleviates the problem. Eating more wholegrain products increases bulk and relieves constipation. If you suffer from chronic constipation, you should take a suitable laxative under medical advice. Avoiding spicy, deep fried food items and cutting down on caffeine are also good.

There’s a new star on the medicinal mushroom sky. It goes by Phellinus linteus in Latin. The little known English common name is Black Hoof Fungus. It’s far more common, even in America, to hear it referred to by its Japanese name as Mesima.

Phellinus linteus is common in Southeast Asia as well as the southern United States. It grows on hardwood species of oak, mulberries and poplar, and sometimes on pines. [1]

Whereas we in America have gotten wind of most medicinal mushroom species by way of Japan or China, Phellinus linteus primarily gained its fame in Korea as an adjunct to traditional chemotherapy treatment for cancer.

The reputation of Phellinus linteus as a powerful medicinal mushroom has rapidly spread across the world and today it is increasingly popular with medical professionals from the U.S. and Japan to Turkey and Israel as an immune booster [2-11], especially for the prevention of cancer metastasis. [5,10,12-17]

Word of Phellinus linteus caught on in 1996 when a Korean paper got published, which credited it with the widest range of anti-tumor and immune-enhancing properties of any medicinal mushroom extract. [4]

World renown American mycologist Paul Stamets took this a step further when he published research in 2003 which compared seven of the world’s most popular medicinal mushroom species, including Reishi, Cordyceps, Maitake, Chaga, Lion’s Mane and Agaricus blazei. [18]

In this study, Phellinus linteus turned out to have the most powerful effect on enhancing the activity of macrophages, a type of white blood cell that’s an important part of the immune system. Macrophage activity was increased 5,700% by the Phellinus linteus extract. The dose used was equivalent to 3,750 mg for an average (165 lbs) adult. [18]

Although human macrophage cells have been known to both induce and inhibit cancer growth, the published research on Phellinus linteus shows that it promotes the anti-cancer properties of macrophages rather than their potential cancer-inducing properties. [8,14,19,20]

In addition to these studies, there are at least three published cases of spontaneous regression of cancers after patients of their own accord used Phellinus linteus extract:

1. First out was a Japanese article in 2004 with a case study of a patient with hormone refractory prostate cancer and bone metastasis who exhibited “dramatic remission” after using Phellinus linteus extract. [15]

2. In 2005, a Korean paper related the case of a 65-year-old patient with liver cancer and skull metastasis who experienced “spontaneous regression” after one and a half years of using Phellinus linteus. [17]

3. And then one year later, in 2006, another Japanese article was published on “a case of spontaneous regression of hepatocellular carcinoma with multiple lung metastases.” The 79-year-old patient had been taking an extract of Phellinus linteus Mycelium for a month. When examined by his doctor 6 months later, his tumors had disappeared. [16]
