Different Types of Paper

Filed under: Business — admin @ 4:46 am

In any office, whether it is a home office or a busy corporate one you will have different types and weights of paper for different purposes. You don’t for example want to use premium paper if you are just making some notes or scribbling out your to do list for the day. Premium paper is a lot weightier and therefore more expensive than other types of paper, which is often much thinner than the premium kind, though a lot less costly.

When you are ordering stationery don’t forget things like staplers and staples as well as the more usual paper, pens and pencils. You should maker sure that you order different types of paper; if your office is also a drawing office then you will need to buy some graph paper. When you are ordering stationery you should also order some very cheap paper that people can use for rough when they need to make notes or a rough sketch of something.

You should keep the premium paper and your headed notepaper if you have it for strictly business purposes. If you have a home office, you should still have some premium paper that you keep for writing important letters. If you’re a keen photographer then you may also want to keep some photo paper for printing out hard copies of your favourite snaps.
